Hello Fitness Friend!
I’ve been teaching exercise classes at the Concrete Theatre since we first bought the building in 2009. Over the years, class formats have included weight training, Zumba, cross-training, PiYo, cardio dance, HIIT and Tabata training. With the pandemic in 2020, we transitioned to workouts on Zoom and while it was far from perfect, it gave us a way to stay connected and moving. In 2021, I began teaching private workouts, with a very limited number of vaccinated participants. My hope is that Covid cases will decrease with more vaccinations and that by 2022, we can return to a more normal schedule. In addition to my fitness classes in Concrete, I’ve also taught online health and wellness classes for Skagit Valley College since 1991. I’m a certified Tabata Trainer, certified PiYo instructor, and licensed Zumba instructor, and over the last 30+ years, I’ve taken and taught a wide variety of exercise formats. Fitness has kept me going and kept me feeling great. I’d like to share the joy of movement with you.
