ANNOUNCING: WIZARD OF OZ SUMMER CAMP

Join the Magic at the Historic Concrete Theatre!

As part of our new Acting Up Youth Theatre program, we invite you to unleash your child’s creativity with our Wizard of Oz Summer Camp! Registration is now open for this enchanting adventure, taking place from July 14 through July 18, 2025.

Camp Details:

  • Schedule: Camp runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Performance: Join us for the free performance on Friday, July 18 at 4:00 p.m.
  • Ice Cream Party: After the performance, cast members get free ice cream!
  • All rehearsals and the performance take place in the theatre.
  • Age Group: Open to kids ages 8 and up.

Experience the Classic Tale:

Follow Dorothy and her friends as they journey along the yellow brick road, encountering munchkins, witches, and the magical Wizard. This 30-minute version of The Wizard of Oz retains all the charm and beloved characters from L. Frank Baum’s timeless story, making it a perfect performance piece for children of all ages.

Registration Information:

  • Registration Fee: $200
  • Deposit: A deposit of $50 is required to secure your child’s place. Please submit by check. (If we need to cancel due to insufficient registrations, deposits will be returned.)

Meet Megan Schrader
Summer Camp 2025 Director

Megan Schrader is a passionate and creative director specializing in children’s theater. She is currently directing an upcoming show with Nite Theater this October. Megan has worked with kids in many capacities, including the Boys and Girls Club and various children’s camps. Bringing energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to every role.

A lifelong theater lover, Megan began performing at the age of six and has graced the stages of the historical Lincoln Theater, McIntyre Hall, Village Theater in Issaquah, and more.

She’s thrilled to be working with this talented cast and can’t wait to follow the yellow brick road with you all this summer!
